21-mile route, aiming for 14-15 mph. This weekly ride is a great ride to improve your climbing skills and step outside of your comfort zone with a supportive group of women. The ride is a mix of social (between the hills) and hard (4-5 pretty good) climbs. We cover ~1,880 feet of elevation gain. We will regroup at the top of the climbs. This ride is designed for experienced riders, comfortable riding in a group, with some light traffic on hills. Please bring lights for the first several weeks, as it will get dark before the end of the ride. After the ride there is a group that usually grabs dinner at nearby local restaurant.

21 mile route with about 1,550 ft of elevation aiming for 14+mph. This bi-weekly ride is a great way to start the week strong with great intervals and some climbing. This ride is a fun mix of different energies: social on smaller roads, hard on hills and focused/single file on busy stretches. We will regroup at regular intervals to accommodate different paces. It is a great ride for intermediate and experienced riders and requires group riding skills. This is a women’s focused ride but open to Sorella’s fellas and friends who are comfortable riding at Sorella group pace. Here is a link to the route for those who wish to download: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/50107788 This ride starts from Mt. Paran Church. We will meet in the parking lot which is immediately to the left (close to the road) as you enter the property from Mt. Paran. There are no restroom facilities available so plan accordingly.

Riders who want a relaxed ride with friendly pacing — join Valerie for this 2x/month no-drop ride. This ride is ideal for newer riders who can handle 8-12 miles and returning riders rebuilding fitness. Pace: conversational, light regrouping at hills; occasional steady efforts on short climbs. Warm, inclusive, low-pressure. No bike lights needed — the Beltline is lighted and we’ll finish as the sun sets. Special/interesting course features: Fully paved, traffic-protected path with chill west-side city vibes (not overly crowded like the eastside), scenic spots and public art, smooth cruising, and an easy sunset finish. Meet at 6:45 for a 7:00pm start. Park on the side street Brookline. After the ride the group can choose to go for food and drinks at the Lee + White restaurants and breweries on the Beltline near Bearings.

Join Leigh for an intermediate mountain bike ride. This is also an opportunity for newer riders to test their skills on a fairly flowy, easy to navigate course. A trails map and description of loops can be found here: https://www.sorbawoodstock.org/olde-rope-mill-park. And here is a link to the ride level descriptions: https://www.sorellacycling.org/content.aspx?page_id=22&club_id=815352&module_id=700083 After the ride, and depending on interest, the group can meet up at Reformation Brewing/Woodstock, just down the road from the trail, for refueling. The BEGINNER MTB ride at Cochran Mill Park is perfect for those who want to go at a slower pace, ride all of the Yellow trails and possibly dip a toe into the Blue trails if feeling confident. We will go at a beginner pace and increase our mph‘s if the group is up for it. The main goal for the ride is to have fun! Bring enough snacks and water/fluids for being on the bike up to 1.5-2 hours. You can find a trail map at https://www.chatthillsga.us/visitors/cochran_mill_park.php and for more info about the trails, check ride descriptions on MTB Atlanta and Mountain Bike Project. Please register for the ride so that Karin knows to expect you, and you can be notified if the ride needs to be canceled for any reason.
