Ride with Us

While we make every attempt to hold our rides as scheduled on occasion a specific ride may be cancelled or temporarily change time or day. You can also view our calendar for details.

Helmets are required on all rides. Lights are recommended for all rides and are required on any rides that will be on the road/trail “after dusk”.

Sunday Monthly Silver Comet Trail Ride – p/b Emory Sports Medicine (3rd Sunday). Start time and ride details are posted in our Calendar.

Starting from Floyd Ride (mile 4.2) we ride out & back on the flat Comet Trail. Our 3 target distances each month are 22, 32 and 54 miles – but with an out & back route you can easily adjust to the distance that will work for you). The ride is open to Sorellas, fellas & friends and is definitely beginner friendly. Rain (or forecast of rain) will cancel.

The monthly Silver Comet Trail rides are presented by Emory Sports Medicine, one of our long time Sorella Cycling sponsors. Emory Sports Medicine wants us to know should we ever need them, they are there for us!

Starting Location:

Floyd Road, 4342 Floyd Road, Mableton, GA – mile 4.2 on the Silver Trail Comment. Ample parking and bathrooms are available.

Monthly Saturday Gentle Gravel Ride. Start time and ride details are posted in our Calendar.

Starting from Serenbe, this monthly Gentle Gravel Grind hits Dirty Sheets at a beginner pace. It's about 22 miles and will often pause to say to the goats and hounds! Lunch is at Halsa afterwards so make sure to bring some comfortable clothes for afterwards so you can enjoy lovely food. The Saturday varies so checkout the Calendar for more details. This is a ladies focused ride but invited gentlemen are more than welcome!

Wednesday Night - Ladies Summer Buckhead Road Ride (April – September. Start times 6 pm April/September; 6:30 pm May-August). Updates and ride details are posted in our Calendar.

Starting at E. Rivers Elementary School on Wednesday nights from April – September we tackle a hilly 21 mile route aiming for 14-15 mph. You need to be comfortable riding in a group on low traffic roads and able to handle the hills of Buckhead. The emphasis is on improving climbing skills and stepping outside of your comfort zone with a supportive group of women and is designed for experienced riders. These rides have a mix of social (between the hills) and hard (4-5 pretty good climbs) and will regroup at the top of the climbs. After the ride there is a group that usually grabs dinner at Bell Street Burrito or another local restaurant.

Starting Location: E Rivers Elementary School 8 Peachtree Battle Ave NW, Atlanta, GA 30305.

For more information text Linda at 404-895-7867.

Wednesday Night – Stone Mountain Winter Road Ride (Wednesday October – March; 6:30 PM). Updates and ride details are posted in our Calendar.

Starting from the West Gate Parking Lot at Stone Mountain we’ll ride the 5 mile park loop – usually 20 miles with an average pace of 12-14 mph. This is a great ride for beginners and anyone not comfortable with road riding as the traffic is light and very few turns. While most of the road is flat there are some inclines to get your legs going. The ride is for Sorellas – fellas are welcome but will need to be comfortable riding at the Sorella pace!

The road is well lit but you need to be seen – lights and reflective clothing is a must.

Starting Location: Stone Mountain West Gate.
